[She's fully human here, and now she feels it even though, in her heart, she has been for a while now. But before this she's been protected with the buffer of knowing that she's running with a pack of nigh on indestructibles and that human heart can be protected from knowing grief because they're all stubborn assholes who won't die.
Who shouldn't die.
Who wouldn't die no matter how hard anyone tried to put them down.
And now she knows more about being human and that human heart hurts because of it.
She turns Nero's playful words from a time that seems a lifetime ago back on him, and although she knows this isn't how it's meant to be used, it sums it up. ]
