Plans: The biggest plan would be Nero learning both patience, and becoming a mediator- moreso than what he's had to do with his father and uncle. Which, honestly, when the end result is "I'm gonna beat the shit out of you to make you stop trying to kill each other," that really doesn't quite count. Nero has always been an impatient and "I can do this my way it's fine" kind of loner thanks to his childhood, but having him also learn to fully work alongside others and trust them enough to lean into intimacy would be fantastic.
Also? Meeting aliens and teaching them memes. It's probably going to happen.
Suggestions: Sickness assigned to one person, and the closer they get to the partner the ship wants them to hang around, they get better. Finding new power sources to upgrade the ship. Learning languages for diplomacy for alien races. Things like that.
